Testimonials

My kids come home with their cups filled with joy and self-assured contentment. They’re rosy cheeked and brimming with excited stories of wilderness, friends and new lessons learned. I feel so grateful that they can go to Campbellcroft.

Campbellcroft Outdoor School has been nothing short of wonderful. The program offers such a refreshing approach, with its strong focus on outdoor exploration, connecting with nature, and encouraging kids to build meaningful social connections. It’s been incredible to watch our son step outside his comfort zone in an environment that feels both supportive and inspiring.
Happy Mom
Our son typically is not one to try new things or seek attention, but since attending, we’ve seen a real shift in his confidence and willingness to participate in a variety of activities. He’s discovering new interests, building life skills, and becoming more open to engaging with others—all in a natural and encouraging way.
A huge part of this positive experience comes Nick and Allison who are truly exceptional. Their patience, dedication, and genuine care for the children shine through in everything they do. They create a safe, inclusive space where kids feel valued and supported, allowing them to grow at their own pace.
We’re so grateful for the impact this program has had on our son and would highly recommend Campbellcroft Outdoor School to any family looking for a nurturing, nature-based learning experience.

“Amazing. Great. Awesome! Popcorn, walks, tea and playing with friends are my favourite parts!”
Two years ago, our daughter was really struggling with public school. The classroom environment was proving too chaotic, loud and even volatile at times.
Happy Parent
She was coming home after school and unloading a lot of big emotions.
It was clear that school was a challenging place for her.
This was the same year that Allison and Nick started Campbellcroft. In January of that school year, we decided to enroll her one day a week, to give her a little reprieve from school.
While we were still experiencing a big emotional collapse on the days she attended public school, this was not happening on the days she attended Campbellcroft.
Instead, she came home utterly exhausted, wet and/or dirty from head to toe, but oh-so-happy! Isn’t this a parent’s dream? Tired, happy children!
We are now in our second school year of her attending Campbellcroft and it has been a game changer.
She is thriving.
It has built up her confidence and her skills; learning to use a knife to chop food for meal-making, caring for goats, making cool art, learning to use a hatchet, a power drill and make a fire, building things with materials available in nature, and training chickens to then put on a chicken circus performance.
Sitting in a classroom, five days a week was not working for our daughter. Giving her the opportunity to be outside in nature all day has improved her capacity and stamina for scholastic learning.
We could not have known how incredible Campbellcroft would be for her without trying it. Dropping her off for a day at Campbellcroft is such a wonderful feeling because I know she is going to be living her best life.
