Testimonials

My kids come home with their cups filled with joy and self-assured contentment. They’re rosy cheeked and brimming with excited stories of wilderness, friends and new lessons learned. I feel so grateful that they can go to Campbellcroft.

Our experience with Campbellcroft has been amazing. My son has participated in similar programs in the past, but he found them overwhelming and intimidating. The first morning I dropped him off at Campbellcroft, he was a bit apprehensive, but by the end of the day everything changed. When I picked him up, he was brimming with excitement, sharing story after story about his day. His eyes were bright, and he couldn’t wait to talk about the projects he had been working on with Nick. It was such a joy to see him so happy and engaged.
The environment that Nick and Allison have cultivated is truly special. My son, who tends to be on the shy side, has really flourished in the small group setting. Not only has his confidence grown, but he’s also developed a sense of leadership, often proud to help the younger children. It’s been wonderful to watch him step into this new role and take more initiative in his interactions.
What I particularly appreciate about Campbellcroft is the balance of hands-on learning, outdoor activities, and personal connection. It’s not just about education – it’s about holistic growth, building relationships, and nurturing self-confidence in a low-stress environment. In a world where kids are increasingly glued to screens, this program provides such a refreshing alternative. It’s an opportunity for my son to meet new friends outside of the usual school and sports circles, and I feel incredibly grateful to have a place that offers him the experiences and fresh air he needs when we, as working parents, can’t always provide them ourselves.
Nick and Allison’s dedication to each child is clear, and their thoughtful approach to education is something I truly value. Campbellcroft has become a place my son eagerly looks forward to each week, and I know that the positive impact it’s having on him will last well beyond his time there. I couldn’t recommend this program more.

Best school ever!
Caring, supportive and student-led learning in nature. Allison and Nick find ways to integrate learning in all sorts of different ways, making it a fun and enriching experience for the kids. They are teaching real life skills and our kids are developing confidence, self-esteem and a sense of purpose and belonging. We’ve seen ripples at home too with our boys now getting along together, collaborating and taking initiative to help and contribute around the house.
Don’t hesitate to contact them to discuss what might work best for you and your child/ren- they’re amazing. 100% recommend!

My daughter absolutely loves this program! She struggles in conventional school so this has been an amazing option for her. We are so thankful for Campbellcroft!
